Gents, Re: 1985 W123 230E with 5 speed manual gearbox. The throttle pedal has approx 1.5 inches of dead travel. Bearing in mind my W123 has a manual gearbox, this hinders smooth gear changes, unless I drive with my right foot constantly partially depressed on the throttle pedal.
